Dear Sir,

I bring you warm greetings on behalf of the Women’s Wing of the PNC and wish to formally notify you in this petition over a worrying and potentially criminal and treasonable comment made in the media by one Ms Janet Nabla, a former General Secretary of the PNC which seeks to create an impression that the PNC is harbouring, promoting and entertaining vigilantism, hooliganism and acts of terrorism which are all offences under our criminal offences Act 1960 (Act 29) and the Vigilantism and Related Offences Act, 2019 as passed by parliament.

In the said media outburst, Ms Janet Nabla had indicated that she has thugs and macho men in her home town of Walewale whom she could deploy to cause mayhem and acts of terrorism upon our Party members and against the Republic of Ghana. These unfortunate comment by c was published by the Ghanaweb and other media portals on the 10th of September, 2021 with the infamous caption ” I have macho men in walewale who can terrorize this country”.

It is indeed true that Ms Janet Nabla is from Walewale and was our Party General secretary until her suspension by the Party on August 28th, 2021 for various acts of misconduct and insubordination. The PNC is a law abiding Political Party and wish to disassociate itself from

the unfortunate comments of violence, hooliganism and terrorism acts promised to be visited on innocent people and our dear Republic by Ms Janet Nabla.

The Women’s Wing of the PNC in particular is very cognisant of the vulnerability of Women and Children in times of violence and will therefore stop at nothing to promote a peaceful and secured environment for the realisation of our collective dreams and aspirations as a nation Ghana

As the leader of the Women’s Wing in the Party, I am therefore compelled to petition your outfit to invite Ms Janet Nabla to assist in investigations over her threats to cause harm as well as her potentially treasonable comments under sections 17, 74 and 180 of our criminal offences Act 1960 (Act 29) as well as under article 19 (17) of our 1992 constitution.

Attached below is an online headline link publication and necessary documents to assist you retrieve the threatful and potentially treasonable comments made by Ms Janet Nabla to assist your investigations.
