Power supply to be interrupted in parts of Oti, Volta regions from 18 March

There will be interruption in power supply in parts of the Oti and Volta Regions from Thursday, 18 March to Monday, 21 March 2021.

This follows the Ghana Grid Company’s (GRIDCo) request to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to interrupt power in the affected communities to enable it “undertake repair works on their transformer that supplies power to both the Volta and Oti Regions through the 69KV transmission line from the Asiekple Bulk Supply point.”

Areas that will be affected on Thursday, 18 March 2021 include “Parts of Ho, Tanyigbe, Keta, Adidome, Anloga, Jasikan, Bodada, Amedzofe, Avatime Traditional area, Kpeve, parts of Hohoe, Tsito and surrounding areas,” from 6 am to 6pm.

While “Sogakope, Akatsi, Parts of Ho, Vakpo, Sovie, Adaklu, Dambai, Nkwanta, Golokwati, Ve communities, Fodome, Wli, Gbledi, Anyirawase, Aziavi and surrounding areas,” will be off on Friday, 19 March 2021 from 6 am to 6pm.

“Parts of Ho, Tanyigbe, Keta, Adidome, Anloga, Jasikan, Bodada, Amedzofe, Avatime Traditional area, Kpeve, parts of Hohoe, Tsito and surrounding areas,” will also be off on Friday, 19 March 2021 from 6 am to 6pm.
