A US based Ghanaian scholar and a constitutional law advocate Professor Stephen Kweku Asare is calling on continuing students to boycott the Law School for the Chief Justice and the General Legal Council to attend themselves until an agreement is made to pass students.
According to Prof Asare aka Kwaku Azar, it is outrageous to fail about 93% of law students with the claim that these students failed. He has expressed his disappointment in the authorities of the law school and our political leaders. He has described this situation as a failure to the General Legal Counsel.
Prof Asare further says no University or tertiary institution all over the world has failed 93% of their students who sit for examinations. He described the situation as outrageous.
“ It’s like nobody has the balls to question the Chief Justice when these things happen. Everyone seems afraid of her” he lambasted.
He made a comparison to the Nigeria bar where he claims about 80% of students passed their exams.
“Does it mean our people are blockheaded?” He questioned
Prof Kwaku Asare says the only way to curb this is by positive action. Ongoing students should boycott the exams until a greater action is taken he added.
He has petitioned government to set aside the political differences and look into the matter because law school isn’t under free education.
He made this Revelations on Adom Fm’s political show burning issues.
