Subin Constituency: JB Danquah Constructs Bridge for Lobito Residents
Independent Parliamentary Candidate for Subin Constituency, Mr. J.B. Danquah, has constructed a bridge for residents at Lobito Electoral Area, solving a long-standing problem that had been neglected by the government.
The bridge, which had collapsed for years, was fixed by Mr. Danquah after repeated calls on the government yielded no results.
The project, which was commissioned on Sunday, July 14, 2024, will now connect residents of Anlo Fante-Newtown to other parts of the Kumasi Metropolis.
Speaking at a short ceremony to open the project, Mr. Danquah said his aim was to improve the standard of living for individuals living in the area.
He noted that it previously took residents 30 minutes to go around the collapsed bridge, and solving this problem motivated him to work on the bridge.
