Ashanti Warrior hopes for world title as he battles Argentina's El Canalla on Dec. 7

It will definitely be a bout of their lives as Ghana's Stanley Nyantakyi popularly known as "Ashanti Warrior" fights Argentine Sergio "El Canalla" Sosa for the Universal Boxing Organization (UBO) world featherweight title at Wisconsin in the United States on December 7, 2024.

“It is an opportunity to win this world title for my country to make Ghanaians proud" he aasured.

Though brimming with confidence ahead of the bout, Nyantakyi has total respect for his Argentine opponent who has proven to be a strong fighter.

Sergio is returning from a defeat to Kazakhstan’s southpaw Sultan Zaurbek last year November in the United Kingdom at the Brighton Center in Sussex. Currently, he holds a record of 13-4 with 3 KOs and now faces the challenge of Stanley Nyantakyi.

The "Ashanti Warrior" not long ago knocked out Isaac Tetteh to clinch the UBO Africa featherweight title at the SG Mall in Kumasi.

His management and technical team are putting in the necessary effort to ensure victory in the upcoming bout.

Gordon Frimpong, CEO of Osibor Boxing Promotions and Manager for Ashanti Warrior has stated that they are giving adequate preparation to Nyantakyi for success over his Argentine counterpart.
