Togolese Nationals Arrested Expose Top Anyinam-based NDC Financier Noah In Galamsey
Highly credible information from ANGEL TV has revealed that several Togolese Nationals arrested, deeply involved in illegal mining popularly known as Galamsey have blown the cover of Eastern Region Anyinam-based NDC Financier popularly known as Noah Nana Anyimadu as their lead kingpin complicit in their operations.
The illegal miners, who are currently in the custody of the Kyebi Police Command were arrested by the Ghana Armed Forces and Small-Scale Mining Taskforce last week.
The security operatives also impounded some speed boats and Chanfans during the operation.
According to the facts, they claimed to have come from the Volta Region but upon series of interrogations, it turned out that they were Togolese brought to the Eastern region through NDC Financier Noah Nana Anyimadu.
Since Noah is closely linked to the chiefs and traditional circles, he trades under the guise of chieftaincy and royalty to involve in Galamsey.
It would be recalled that the same anti-galamsey security operations resulted in similar arrests of some other Togolese and Burkinabe nationals in Prestea Huni Valley in the Western Region.
These foreigners admitted operating with speed boats, Chanfans in Offin, Birim, Pra, Oda among several other river bodies.
These foreigners even went ahead to provide information on some 40 Chafan machines belonging to Noah that was on its way to be dispatched and also gave the contact number of the Driver.
It was at this point that the security taskforce engaged and lured the Driver to the operation point and impounded the machines.
It further emerged that when Noah got wind of the arrest, he showed up so emboldened and even claimed ownership of some 40 Chanfan Machines that the security operatives had impounded.
He subsequently went far and further to demand the release of the Chanfan Machines.
The police provoked and incensed by these demands arrested Noah who is currently cooling off at the Kyebi Police Cells.
“Look at how all these are playing out, it tells you that the opposition NDC is also involved in the mess. Those catholic priests who went on the streets to pray and protest should go back to the NDC and pray for them as well.
…This same character Noah has on several occasions accused the NPP government and its allies of destroying natural resources and polluting water bodies but under the dark, Noah recruits foreigners to come and undertake this same crime he has been accusing the government of; as matter of fact Noah Nana Anyimadu is a hardcore small-scale miner himself and everyone in Anyinam knows him for such trade,” a top source bitterly lamented.
