    Don’t bite the hands that fed you…Learn from Chairman Wontumi – Sophia Akuffo advised

    Former Chief Justice of Ghana, Sophia Akuffo, has been advised by a political science lecturer at a renowned university in Ghana to ponder over her recent actions against government and be a loyal person like Chairman Wontumi.


    The lecturer who chose to remain anonymous told Wontumionline.com in an interview that the former Chief Justice was opening herself up for political attacks which would fade the glory she has attained.

    He explained that the recent actions of the former Chief Justice in public was very humiliating and equal to biting the hands that once fed her.


    The political Science lecturer was reacting to a recent post by Mr. Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko on Facebook where he shared a picture of Chairman Wontumi on his timeline to show how loyal he has been to Nana Akufo-Addo before he became President of Ghana.

    Justice Sophia Akuffo was appointed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as Chief Justice of Ghana immediately Georgina Theodora Wood bowed out of office.

    Justice Sophia Akuffo was again honored by President Akufo-Addo’s government when she was made to chair the Board of Trustees of the eight-member COVID-19 National Trust Fund.

    The above history should be a guiding principle to direct Justice Sophia Akuffo when commenting on issues in public, the university lecturer said.
