The Black Stars of Ghana will today, Friday, 25 March 2022, play their arch-rivals, the Super Eagles of Nigeria, in the first leg of the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifier at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The Super Eagles arrived in Kumasi on Thursday morning and trained at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Black Stars are hoping to win back the fans after a poor showing at the recently ended African Cup of Nation in Cameroon where the team exited in the first round of the competition.
The team will also be hoping to qualify for the World Cup after missing out on the last edition in Russia.
The winner over the two legs will qualify for the Qatar World Cup.
