Real Madrid take final decision on Bale’s future
Real Madrid have decided to sell Gareth Bale at the end of this season.
According to Spanish newspaper Marca, the La Liga giants have grown tired of Bale’s underwhelming performances.
The Welsh winger was viewed as the man to replace Cristiano Ronaldo prior to the season, but has failed to step up, with a string of injuries not helping his chances.
Bale has now fallen out of favour under Santiago Solari, starting just twice since returning from injury on January 27.
Brazilian youngster Vinicius has taken his spot after an explosive breakthrough in recent months, whilst Lucas Vazquez is also a big part of their long-term plans.
With their focus on a summer swoop for Eden Hazard at the end of the season, Bale’s time in the Spanish capital could be up.
