Kumasi Asante Kotoko legend, Rev Osei Kofi has threatened to lead a massive protest against the government if they any shield corrupt officials captured in the yet-to-be premiered documentary by investigate journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
This comes after Ghana Football Association president, Kwesi Nyantakyi was granted by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ghana Police Service after the president ordered for his arrest on Tuesday with the charge of defrauding with false pretense.
The former Black Stars forward wants to see Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi incarcerated after he was captured in the video.
”We’re all waiting to watch the said video but any attempt to shield any official allegedly captured on tape for wrongdoings will lead to a massive demonstration in the country,” he said on Adom FM’s Burning Issues programme on Wednesday night.
”The GFA president is thirteen (13) years in office and a total of twelve (12) ministers have been sacked at the Ministry of Youth and Sports; why is Nyantakyi still in office.”
