Shatta Wale warns Akufo-Addo
Reggae cum dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has sent a word of caution to president Akufo-Addo over the current state of the economy.
According to him, many Ghanaians are currently living in hardship with the collapse of businesses and loss of jobs.
He further added that, it is about time the president does something about the current situation or risk losing 2020 elections.
He made this known during a discussion with Kumasi-based Luv FM.
“This time, I’m even releasing more songs but people are not even aware. I’m just trying to make people take their minds off certain things. I’m trying to put controversial stuff in the industry for Ghana to be interesting but the country is becoming hotter and hotter each and every day.
“I beg president to do something. Ghanaians are suffering too much. I just want to say this on air for him to know that I also care about the country. The way he wants Ghana to move is the same way I also want Ghana to move but people are complaining too much. Like there’s no money, businesses are collapsing…,” he lamented.
