Stop limiting yourself by being ‘fake’ – Nadia Buari

Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari has jabbed people pleasers advising them to end their “fake lifestyles” for their own good.

She particularly cautioned against living one’s life by mimicking others and succumbing to pressures to please friends and colleagues.

“Don’t let the expectations and opinions of other people affect your decisions.

“It’s your life, not theirs. Do what matters most to you; do what makes you feel alive and happy,” she said in a post on her Instagram.

She further cautioned individuals to be careful not to limit themselves by allowing utterances of others to have an impact on them.

The actress who believes one is limitless if they set their hearts on their goals added by saying, “Don’t let the expectations and ideas of others limit who you are. If you let others tell you who you are, you are living their reality — not yours”.

She thus urged individuals to try as much as possible live life to please themselves and not others.

“There is more to life than pleasing people. There is much more to life than following others’ prescribed path. There is so much more to life than what u experience right now. You need to decide who you are for yourself. Become a whole being. #UnApologeticallyMe,” a portion of her post said.
