Mr Joseph Kwabena, Chief Executive Officer of Premier League debutant, Techiman Eleven Wonders has reiterated that they are enjoying life in topflight football and hence would want to ‘stay’ for much longer.
The Techiman based club are enjoying life in the ongoing Ghana Premier League and after 11 matches played, Eleven Wonders are occupying the 11th position with 14 points.
According to him, they have had a smooth sail so far and were happy with conditions in the top flight, particularly with its better sporting environment but admitted that playing in the lower division was very difficult, adding that it was an experience they would not want to repeat.
“It has been fantastic for us in the Premier League. We struggled before we got this far and so I don’t think we would joke in the league.
“We are here to stay and that is the more reason why we are moving heaven and earth to keep this club in the Premier League,’ Mr Fosu told GNA Sports.
As part of measures to ensure their stay in the league, the management of the club has contracted the services of former Premier League winning coach, Enos Kwame Adepa after sacking Mumuni Gamel, who qualified the team to the top flight, after 12 games.
Adepa’s major task is to steer Wonders clear off relegation in their first season.
