The 1970’s saw the greatest of music Ghana has ever had. The originality of lyrics and arrangement of instrumentals cannot be compared to the pool of songs played on our airwaves in recent times.
Too bad this generation wasn’t around to enjoy them in ‘flesh and spirit’ but thanks to recorded tracks; one can dig into the archives to enjoy some great hits from the 1970s down to the 90’s.
Mostly created with intricate instrumentals one cannot help but rock with the music from legendary musicians like Osibisa, Ramblers Band, George Darko, Ben Brako, Kojo Antwi, Daddy Lumba, Amakye Dede to mention a few.
