Former Asante Kotoko defender, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, says he was denied a visa in Mozambique because of lockdown when he was on his way to sign for an unnamed club in Portugal.
The 25-year-old refused contract extension at Kotoko at the end of his deal back in June 2020.
Badu says a move to the unnamed club is still on the cards, that’s why he signed a short-term contract with Ghana Premier League side, Inter Allies, to keep active until issues are sorted out.
“I have indeed signed for Inter Allies, Football management acquired a deal for me in Portugal, ” he told Ashh FM.
“I travelled to Mozambique but couldn’t get the visa because there was a lockdown. I had to play football for some time that’s why I have signed for Inter Allies.”
