The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Bernard Antwi Boasiako or ‘Chairman Wontumi’ has said the reason men make money is to live a satisfactory life and chase women.
The NPP Regional Chairman was speaking on the Delay Show on Sunday, 15 May 2022.
Giving reasons for choosing to buy himself a Rolls-Royce amidst the current economic challenges facing the country, Chairman Wontumi quizzed: “Are you hungry?”
“Doing this [putting up a modern studio] for the public, why can’t I buy a car to satisfy [myself], why do we look for money? Why do we look for money?
“We look for money to be happy. We look for money for [our] daily bread and daily expenses. We look for money to look for women.”
The NPP Regional Chairman further confirmed rumours that he owned quite a number of vehicles.
“I have 10 tractors, I have about 20 excavators, I have bulldozers, I have about 70 trucks. I have every type of car, I love cars. I don’t drink, I don’t like a lot of women.”
