NDC’s ticket, even with a doll, trumps any NPP candidate – Kwakye Ofosu

A heated exchange took place between former Deputy Minister of Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s lawyer, Kow Essuman, regarding the choice of the NPP’s candidate for the 2024 general elections.

Kow Essuman retweeted a comment made by President Akufo-Addo, where the president expressed his intention to vote for a candidate who can secure a third successive defeat against the NDC presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, in the upcoming elections.

Reacting to this, Kwakye Ofosu stated that any representative of the NDC would easily defeat the NPP candidate with a resounding victory. He boldly asserted, “After such abysmal governance, even a doll standing on the NDC’s ticket will deliver a crushing defeat to anyone your party presents at the polls.”

As the 2024 general elections approach, the NPP is gearing up to elect its presidential candidate in November 2023, while the NDC has already selected former president John Dramani Mahama as its representative for the polls. The exchange between the two parties reflects the intensifying competition and political rivalry in the lead-up to the elections.
