Duffuor Jnr loses Sekeyere Affam plains ticket by 8 votes
Kwabena Duffuor Junior, the son of National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer aspirant and business mogul, Dr Kwabena Duffuor, has lost the Sekyere Afram Plains parliamentary primaries on the ticket of the party.
Dr Duffuor Jnr lost by eight votes to the eventual winner Hajia Afrah Nasira in Saturday’s polls.
Hajia Nasira polled 211 while Duffuor Jnr polled 203 votes.
The incumbent Dr Alex Adomako polled 86 while Prof Edward Brenya polled 65.
Duffuor Jnr has, however, called for a recount of the votes.
