Cwesi Oteng ‘Dodges’ Question on Campaign for NPP on Grace Time with Patrick Moore

Ghanaian gospel musician Cwesi Oteng conveniently avoided a question posed to him about his open campaign for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) during the 2016 elections on the Grace Time with Patrick Chordson Moore Show last Sunday.

Quizzed by host of the Inspirational Talk Show, Patrick Chordson Moore, why he decided to openly declare his support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Cwesi Oteng shyed away from the question, saying that "it would be a discussion for another day."

Meanwhile, Cwesi Oteng's who initially had indicated that he stood by his position appears to be changing the narrative recently in his interaction with a couple of media platforms.

He indicated on some platforms that he regrets openly campaigning for the Akufo-Addo led New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Cwesi Oteng's decision to avoid the question on the Grace Time with Patrick Chordson Moore consequently does not come as a surprise.

Some people believe that he is trying to distance himself from the NPP because of recent happening that is making the party unpopular among a section of the Ghanaians.

Others believe that he is simply trying to avoid controversy.

Whatever the reason, Cwesi Oteng's actions have left many people wondering about his true intentions.

Cwesi Oteng's posture on Grace Time on Sunday, 16, 2023 has done little to clarify his position.

It remains to be seen whether he will continue to campaign for the NPP or whether he will distance himself from the party altogether.

Grace Time with Patrick Chordson Moore airs every Sunday, 7pm GMT on Original FM 91.9.
