TradeAid Integrated Calls for Support for Basket Weavers Ahead of BICAF
Nicholas Apokerah, Executive Director of TradeAid Integrated, an NGO based in Bolgatanga, Ghana, is calling for support for basket weavers and other arts and crafts producers in Bolgatanga ahead of the Bolgatanga International Craft and Arts Fair (BICAF) slated for November 1-5, 2023.
BICAF is an annual event that showcases the best of Bolgatanga's arts and crafts, including baskets, pottery, textiles, and wood carvings.
The fair attracts visitors from all over Ghana and the world, and it is a major opportunity for local artisans to sell their products and promote their work.
Mr. Apokerah is urging people to support basket weavers and other arts and crafts producers by buying their products and attending BICAF.
