Owusu Bempah ‘defeats’ Kusi Boateng and Son after ‘spiritual battle’ to control NPP, Govt

The battle for control of spiritual life of top government appointees and officials has been won by Rev. Owusu Bempah after Kusi Boateng sought to uproot him.

The founder and Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah earlier alleged Kusi Boateng who leads the Power Chapel Worldwide Ministeries had a hand in his arrest and detention by his (Kusi Boateng’s) spiritual son, IGP George Akuffo Dampare.

Kusi Boateng eventually torpedoed Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah from the corridors of power where he had favours and attention before the emergence of the former.

However, this year, Senior government officials led by Vice president Dr. Bawumia celebrated Christmas at Rev. Owusu Bempah’s church signalling a reconciliation.

Former National Organizer Sammi Awuku was part of the delegation that visited Rev. Owusu Bempah as part of appeasement of the “nation’s prophet”.

Kusi Boateng who was once a “small boy” of Rev. Owusu Bempah allegedly engaged in a campaign of “backbiting and calumny against Rev. Owusu Bempah to President Akufo-Addo, Vice President Bawumia among other figures to gain political favours in spaces previously occupied by Rev. Owusu Bempah.

Isaac Owusu Bempah claimed that the order for his recent  arrest and detention came from the birthday party of Kusi Boateng where the Vice President and Dampare were both in attendance and both of whom refused to pick his calls.

Kusi Boateng himself refused to pick calls from Owusu Bempah, his former spiritual godfather.

Rev. Owusu Bempah earlier spoke about the relationship he had with Kusi Boateng, revealing that he made it possible for Kusi Boateng to travel abroad for the first time in his life saying Kusi Boateng “used to be his friend”.

Rev. Isaac Owusu said there was a program in Holland which he was invited to but couldn’t go because he was going to the US. He then sent Rev. Kusi Boateng and one other pastor to represent him which made Kusi Boateng get an opportunity to travel abroad for the first time.
