GFA President Kurt Okraku Introduces Black Stars Technical Team to Sports Minister Kofi Adams
The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mr. Kurt Okraku on March 3 2025, led the technical team of the Black Stars to pay a courtesy call on the Minister for Sports and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Adams, at his office.
During the meeting, Mr. Okraku stated that the visit was to officially introduce the newly constituted technical team to the Minister and to seek his blessings as they take charge of the national team, particularly ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Hon. Kofi Adams welcomed the team and emphasized the need for a collaborative approach to ensure the Black Stars’ success.
He assured them of his support, noting that his office operates an open-door policy and that they are free to seek his intervention whenever necessary.
The Minister also charged the team to work diligently towards securing Ghana’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, stressing the importance of teamwork and strategic planning.
Among the members of the technical team present at the meeting were head coach Otto Addo, technical director Mr. Winfried Schäfer, and assistant coach Desmond Ofei.
