Rainbow Nations Challenge Tennis Tournament Returns for Its Fourth Edition
The Rainbow Nations Challenge tennis tournament returns with 56 players from 23 countries to compete in the 4th edition from 11-13 March 2025.
This popular tournament is hosted by the Ghana South African Business Chamber (GSABC) with the patronage of Zanetor Agyeman- Rawlings, Honorable Member of Parliament
for the Klottey-Korle constituency.
All of the player entrance fees will be donated to the ZAR Foundation to be used in community projects in the Klottey-Korle communities that most need assistance.
The Rainbow Nations Challenge has successfully brought the international business community together over these 4 years to promote networking and cooperation.
This year’s tournament aims to build on and extend the relationships which were forged during the first three tournaments.
The tournament will be held at the Accra Lawn Tennis Club, and matches will be contested under floodlights from 5-9pm.
The doubles format will culminate with finals night being held on Thursday with the qualifiers contesting the quarters, semis, and grand finale.
The winning team will be celebrated with live music and a
gala cocktail.
The strong USA team is back to defend their title and they will be challenged by competitive teams from Ghana, India, Italy, Belgium, and South Africa.
This year should prove to be the tightest competition yet!
Grant Webber, the President of the Ghana South African Business Chamber, expressed his excitement at the continued success of the tournament, stating, “We
are thrilled to host the Rainbow Nations Challenge for the fourth year. We hope to continue fostering closer relationships with the diplomatic and business communities in Ghana and use this opportunity to create a new framework for cooperation to navigate these uncertain economic times.”
The Rainbow Nations Challenge brand has expanded to include a running club which holds a monthly time trial focused on health and well-being as well as a padel club which plays every weekend.
The GSABC would like to extend their gratitude to all the sponsors who have supported them in putting together this tournament.
Their support has allowed the chamber to host such a successful and vibrant event for so many people from diverse backgrounds.
